Marshal Fields Department Store was their major US importer, allowing "Victoria" Schmidt & Co. to employ 975 workers by 1900. (Though the location did not change, the country’s name did to Czecho-Slovakia and now Czech Republic.)   In 1927, it was transformed into a stock company and renamed Porzellanfabrik Victoria AG.  Later in 1945, the factory together with Altrohlau Porcelain Company became part of the state owned EPIAG and renamed Starorolsky Porcelan.    By 1958, the name was Karlovarsky Porcelan Stara Role II and and presently it is part of Thun Karlovarsky Porcelan.  The mark used on this piece is from the 1904-1918 time period as cited by the website marks4ceramics as mark #9.<br>Please view all pictures carefully as they are part of the description.
